WHO DOESN’T LIKE CUTENESS AND WHO DOESN’T LIKE MUSIC?

A combination of both ahh!! perfect. Who knew that the BTS boys would influence millions of fans worldwide? All thanks to their non-stop efforts which lead them to the pride of Korea.

K-pop has become a worldwide cultural phenomenon, mainstream Korean music originated from South-Korea. So how did K-pop come into existence?

Generally preferred by young adults, formed around the 1990s, though the roots began from 1950s. k-pop has now been impacted a great deal by various kinds of Western music and pop gatherings. Contemporary K-pop start pinpoints to a certain date in early 1992, when the groups performed their music on TV for the first time.

For those who are completely new to K-pop, let us think of groups such as One Direction, Fifth Harmony in the West as idols! K-pop, quite different from Western music has now attracted a huge audience.

I feel the melodies are catchy, the choreographies are impressive and the group members are beautiful to the eye. There is usually a lot of effort also put into making the music videos look cool and high quality, even when it’s just the group members dancing. The groups have specific styles to help them stand out. Korean is basically “dancing perfectly in sync”.

BTS, known as the Bangtan Sonyeondan, is a seven-member South Korean boy band that began formation in 2010 and debuted in 2013.

“BTS is more like an emotion to most of the fans. Right from their personality to performance, cinematography to direction. Not to mention the meaningful songs that fans would just go crazy about Not only on camera but they are cool even behind the camera and the goofy stuff they do just adds to their cuteness “

I never knew about K-pop until 2018. I got to know through Billboard and I found it quite interesting. What made me like it? I still think. It could be the genre, the choreography that they add to their performance and now I am a ‘die-hard fan’ of K-pop.

They have more groups compared to solo artists and that could be something that makes them different from the rest.

I have learnt a completely different genre of music and till date BTS and Blackpink has been my favourite. For all the people out there, who have no idea about K-pop. I want others to know about K-pop so that people know that there is something like this, which is Pretty Amazing and a different wave will be coming soon.

To all those who criticise K-pop just a single message “LISTEN FIRST AND THEN BULLSHIT LATER”

One of the interesting facts about NCT is that beside Korea, the selection happens from various countries like Thailand, Canada, Japan, Mongolia and even USA.

When it comes to choosing a leader does age really matter? Being the youngest member of the group Seung Yoon proves it wrong. He is Winner’s leader who was born in 1994 while other members were all born either born in 1993 or before.

Also is a leader really necessary for a group? Not really if it is a girl’s group (Just Kidding) BlackPink has managed to be one of the creative in K-pop without a leader.

Have you ever had a great idea in mind but then underestimated yourself by saying “Ahh how can I do it? I may not be able to execute my dream to a reality.  I come from small town” But aren’t these just excuses?

BTS proved this wrong as they came from very small town, they struggled a lot with financial crisis. Many famous or popular company denied them to make a debut in the k-pop industry. But however, their hard work and efforts proved that these were only excuses.

After stanning BTS and Blackpink, I hope to visit Korea and explore Korean music. As they treat their fans with extreme love and affection. BTS recognizes their fans as ARMY and Blackpink calls their fans as BLINKS.
